Alan Wilson is the Gun Owners’ Choice Candidate for SC Governor

I am proud to endorse Alan Wilson for Governor of South Carolina.

In the upcoming June 23rd Republican primary runoff, gun owners across the Palmetto State have an outstanding opportunity to elect a proven, battle-tested champion of our liberties who has consistently led the fight for our rights.

Alan Wilson is the real deal. Alan served in the South Carolina Army National Guard for 30 years, rising to the rank of colonel. He deployed to Iraq where he earned the Combat Action Badge.

And as our Attorney General since 2011, Alan has fought just as hard to defend our God-given right to keep and bear arms.

Alan Wilson is an absolute rock star when it comes to your Article I, Section 20 rights. He has spent years on the front lines, proactively taking on tyrannical gun control schemes wherever they pop up.

When anti-gun states like Hawaii tried to systematically strip their citizens of the right to buy and carry firearms, Alan didn’t sit on the sidelines. As Attorney General, he joined multi-state legal battles to crush those unconstitutional restrictions.

In Alan’s own words:

“The Second Amendment says the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, which includes not allowing a state to infringe on that right. The Second Amendment is a precious and vital right that needs to be defended everywhere…”

Alan also knows that our constitutional rights shouldn’t magically disappear when we cross state lines. He has led the charge demanding that Congress pass National Concealed Carry Reciprocity to stop law-abiding citizens from being treated like criminals when they travel.

“It is outrageous that law-abiding Americans can face felony charges and prison time for exercising a constitutional right simply because they cross into a different state… Every day they delay, they allow constitutional rights to be trampled and responsible citizens to be treated like criminals.”
