Steven Long is the Gun Owners’ Choice Candidate for House District 37
I am proud to endorse Representative Steven Long for re-election to the South Carolina House of Representatives in District 37.
In the upcoming November 3rd general election, Upstate gun owners have a proven champion on the ballot—a legislator who doesn’t just pay lip service to the Second Amendment, but actively fights on the front lines to defend and advance our gun rights in Columbia.
Steven grew up right here in Boiling Springs and is raising his family in Inman. An Eagle Scout and local small businessman, Steven understands our community because he has lived and served here his entire life.
Most importantly for gun owners, Steven Long has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to defending our God-given freedoms. He holds an unblemished 100% pro-gun voting record in the General Assembly and earned a perfect 100% score on his Gun Owners of America candidate survey.
Steven does not back down when gun-grabbers try to infringe upon our liberties. He has put principle into action by cosponsoring campus carry legislation, standing firm in the belief that law-abiding citizens should never be stripped of their right to self-defense simply because they step onto a college campus.
Here is what Steven has to say about the importance of protecting our right to keep and bear arms:
“The Second Amendment is what secures all of our God given constitutionally protected rights. All of our other rights would be at great risk of government interference without it. We must stop any further encroachment on the Second Amendment and push back against current restrictions that violate it.”
